"Death Stranding" is still being developed as of now. However, with big names such as Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen and Guillermo del Toro in the cast, it is expected to be something big. In fact, the game shows so much promise that Hideo Kojima's former colleagues at Konami have reportedly followed him to Kojima Productions to develop the game.

Earlier, it was announced that Kojima has hired some big names from Konami to help with "Death Stranding." This includes art directir Yoji Shinkawa and producer Ken-Ishiro Imaizumi. Apart from them, personal assistant Ayako Terashima and even former Konami Europe president Shinji Hirano have been hired, according to Crunchyroll.

Hirano was reported to have aided Kojima with European developers, as reported by Gamepur. Thus, Kojima Productions was able to work with Dutch developer Guerilla Games for "Death Stranding." However, it is said that the list of former Konami staffers to follow Kojima has grown and has been growing since then.

There are a few other names that have popped up who apparently had joined Hideo Kojima's Kojima Productions. Game designers Masaki Saito and Jackie Tan, cinematic artist Yasuhiro Kawakami, senior character designer Chihoko Uchiyama and designer Akio Sakamoto were reportedly working on "Death Stranding," as well.

Sakamoto was the designer of the core of FOX Engine. The said game engine was used by Konami to create various games such as "Metal Gear Solid V." For "Death Stranding," Hideo Kojima will be using Guerilla Games' Decima Engine. However, since the developer himself has suggested they would modify the engine, Sakamoto could also likely work on the new Decima engine.

The lineup of former Konami staffers to have transferred to Kojima Productions led others to believe that there was some kind of special agreement between the two companies. However, some focused on thinking that with such talents, "Death Stranding" will be impressive.
