Square Enix is now celebrating the 15th anniversary of "Kingdom Hearts." Instead of celebrating the usual way, like giving discounts or freebies, the company decided to make it a more special one -- that which involves the Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, Japan.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, Square Enix decided to put up a "Memorial Stained Glass Clock" and placed it at the Tokyo Metro Marunouchisen Shinjuku Station Metro Promenade. The glass clock included loved characters from the franchise. The centerpiece, of course, is focused on Sora, the main protagonist.

Apart from the glass clock, there are 12 other smaller works that surround the main structure. Apparently these smaller works represent each hour of the day and functions as the numbers for the clock. Each one focuses on other characters from the "Kingdom Hearts" franchise. There are those for Aqua, Riku, Roxas and even for King Mickey.

Video Games Republic notes that there is also an 80-inch vertical display besides the clock. This display features a one-minute flashback video of "Kingdom Hearts." It also features a countdown for the next game, titled "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue," which is set to come out January 12 in Japan.

The stained glass will be at the Shinjuku Station up to January 15. What's more exciting is that these are not merely installations -- the 13 stained glass masterpieces will actually be given away to lucky fans.

The giveaway winners will be random. To join, follow the official Twitter account of "KIngdom Hearts" and tweet them the image of a stained glass from the campaign website. It's also possible to take a photo of the memorial in person and tweet the picture to them followed by the hashtag "#キングダムハーツ15周年 " which translates to "Kingdom Hearts 15th Anniversary." This is open to anyone.

"Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue" will be out in Japan on January 12. The rest of the world can acquire the game on January 24.
