The casting for "Dancing with the Stars" Season 24 is reportedly already halfway finished. The show, which is expected to return to ABC on March 20, will still have Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron welcoming new stars on the dance floor.

According to Glamour, "Dancing with the Stars" Season 24 will be a big one, especially since it has the competition's 400th episode. "We will do something about it," executive producer Joe Sungkur said. "As an overall for the season, we will bring back favorite themes, some new ideas, but also stick to what is working so well. "

Sungkur then adds that that they are all hoping to have "romance in the air." "Whenever there is romance, there is a smile on our face," he added. The showrunner also teased that one fan favorite pro dancer will be returning, while another will forego this season. Unfortunately, the EP refused to give out any specifics about who these pros are.

A report had also emphasized that pro dancer Mark Ballas recently followed Ashley Benson of "Pretty Little Liars" on Twitter. It was this same social media activity that prompted "Dancing with the Stars" fans to suspect Paige VanZant as Ballas' dance partner in the show's previous season. Now that Ballas and Benson have recently started to follow each other on social media, the Internet is abuzz with reports that these two stars will dance together on "Dancing with the Stars" Season 24.

Executive producer Rob Wade also revealed to the press that Derek Hough will not be present this season. "Derek is not coming back because he is doing the 'Move' tour," Wade explained.

Regarding the new parents, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd, Wade has confirmed that the couple will be prioritizing their baby. "It feels crass to me to phone Maks a few days after the birth and say, 'Hey, want to come back?'" Wade added. "They are an East Coast-based family, and we have to put the family first."
