Looks like the Nintendo Switch hype train is still on track as several video game companies has decided to ride with the hype and unveil their new titles alongside the new hybrid game console's launch. 2K sports has just recently announced that it will be launching its "NBA 2k18" this year and will be making it available for all platforms, and, yes, that includes the Nintendo Switch.

During the Nintendo Switch official big reveal at Tokyo which was seen by gamers throughout the world via livestream, a number of yet to be released video games were shown in the teaser video for the new game console. Included in Nintendo Switch teaser video is the next installment of the famous basketball video game from 2k sports, "NBA 2k18."

Though no information has been released yet about the new "NBA 2k18" video game, several video game players are already speculating that 2k will bring the same realistic graphics and fantastic gameplay that it had been delivering with its past video game titles. Also, a lot of fans of the NBA 2k franchise are expecting the game modes that have been offered in the past NBA 2k games.

Among the fan favorite features of the NBA 2k video games are the MyPLAYER, which allow players to create their own NBA player and play through the created player's NBA journey in the MyCAREER mode. The MyLEAGUE and MyGM game modes allow gamers to take serve as a General Manager of an NBA franchise or to take control of the entire league.

The "NBA 2k18" for Nintendo Switch is scheduled to be released September 2017. Game developer 2k, is yet to reveal the "NBA 2k18" release date for other platforms. Gamers are already anticipating for an announcement from the 2k team if a prelude, similar to that made for "NBA 2k17", will be launched for "NBA 2k18".
