Lucy and Wyatt's steamy smooch made fans question: had they moved on to friendship's next level? More to point, are Lucy and Wyatt getting intimate? Executive producer Erik Kripke has some juicy "Timeless" season 1 spoilers, which lifts hopes on the characters' relationship and where their friendship could lead.

In his interview with TVLine, Kripke confirms that there exists a sexual tension between Lucy and Wyatt. "There's some kind of sexual tension there. I think that first kiss [in last month's Bonnie and Clyde episode kind of awoke something that was subconscious before that in both of them," the EP said.

Despite the blossoming intimacy, however, the two won't be engaging in more make-out sessions. "I don't think they're going to be hooking up any time soon. It's just another color in their relationship," Kripke added. "Timeless" season 1 will instead focus on the friendship between Rufus, Lucy and Wyatt.

Kripke then laid out what happens for the time-travellers, saying that three will find themselves closer than ever and become a family. Dropping more "Timeless" season 1 spoilers, the EP said that the audience will see Rufus, Lucy and Wyatt fight for each other and protect each other, as much as they are prone to disagreements. However, their petty arguments will make their bond stronger.

The show's boss dropping hints and what could be a credible source of "Timeless" season 1 spoilers still doesn't stop fans from rooting for a Lucy-Wyatt tandem. Not all are in favor, as expected. As BuddyTV notes, Lucy and Wyatt should never happen, citing "nothing exciting" would come out of it. According to the publication, "Timeless" has heavily rubbed in the obvious tension from the start, which means where they could be going is a rather predictable move.

Nonetheless, what will become of Lucy and Wyatt remains to be seen when "Timeless" returns on Monday, 10/9c on NBC. Drop a comment or two below about what you think will happen next.
