Comments from the competition matter and it feels great to know when these comments are positive. A similar situation took place when Xbox Head, Phil Spencer laid down his comments on the new console Nintendo Switch.
Spencer reacted to the system and some of the upcoming games for the console but is not the first Xbox higher-up to do so. Previous reaction from Xbox head of engineering Mike Ybarra also had something to say about Nintendo's latest masterpiece.
Spencer's Tweets note us that he found the new Mario in the upcoming game "Super Mario Odyssey" a fresh new concept. He further added that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" should be great.
Further reports on "Super Mario Odyssey" notes of Shigeru Miyamoto stating that the upcoming Nintendo Switch game will remain loyal to the previous games like "Super Mario 64" and "Super Mario Sunshine."
Phil Spencer had more to say about the Nintendo Switch. His statement that it will be enjoyable to see the new game concepts coming from the console as the console is a portable one. However, not every developer or analyst is considering the design of the Switch a perfect one. Some doubt the hybrid nature of the console. Plus, Nintendo's market share price dropped once more after their latest Switch event took place.
The endorsements Microsoft has given Nintendo does show us that the Switch is not a failure, for now. With more games and new concepts coming up, it is yet to be seen how capable these devices will be. On top of that, once the console gets in the hands of the consumers, it will be clearer how well these gadgets are going to perform. For now, we can only wait for their release.
We might still have to wait for "Super Mario Odyssey" to come out by the end of the year, but players can get their hands on "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" with Nintendo Switch.
The Switch comes out on March 3, 2017 with a price tag of $300.
