Taylor Swift seemingly has big visions for her home after the revelation that the pop icon is not the only reason to love the said residential structure. Located in Beverly Hills, the multi-awarded recording artist wishes to establish the house as a landmark -- and it is not because of her.

The "Love Story" singer looks at more than just making her name memorable; she plans to mark the house she stays in as a historic landmark after her talk with the Cultural Heritage Commission. According to the Beverly Hills Courier, the move that Swift proposes is completely legal, with the Commission affirming the mansion on having a reasonable value.

As per Hollywood Life, prior to Swift's ownership of the house, another prominent personality made the house valuable. This is why Swift wishes to have the house granted with such prestige. The father of Tony Goldwyn (star of "Scandal"), Samuel Goldwyn, used to be the owner of the said home.

Samuel is the founder of his own film production company responsible for producing hit shows like "The Best Years of Our Lives" back in 1946 and "Guys and Dolls" in 1955. He is also known for being friends with some of the more recognizable Hollywood legends, such as Clark Gable and Charlie Chaplin.

The residential area is comprised of six bedrooms, five bathrooms and measures around 10,982 square feet. It was acquired by Swift back in 2015 for $25 million, but ended with a deal of $39 million. As of the moment, Swift's proposal reportedly has a good chance of being approved. It will be up for review by the Cultural Heritage Commission in January 18, 2017 at the local City Hall. For now, no news has been confirmed yet of the artist moving out of her house if the offer gets approved.
