After many centuries, the world's very first smart hairbrush has come out and it is expected to help women deal with the hair's top problems. Kérastase Hair Coach Powered by Withings is L'Oréal's latest tech which is connected with a companion app. It has a built-in microphone which identifies patterns by "listening" to the sounds of the breaking hair. It provides an understanding of the hair's manageability, dryness, split ends, and frizziness. (via DigitalSpy)

L'Oréal's smart hairbrush is battery-powered, water-resistant and has a 3-axis load cells that calculates the force applied to the hair and scalp during use. It is also designed to analyze brushing patterns and count the strokes made when brushing through its accelerometer and gyroscope. The wonder smart hairbrush also vibrates when the user brushes her hair too hard.

Kérastase Hair Coach also has its own sensors which analyze the effects of different factors like hair products like hair and heat from straighteners, hairdryers, and the like. After which, the smart hairbrush provides recommendations about which techniques and products to use in repairing the hair. Its conductivity sensors also help L'Oréal's smart hairbrush to distinguish whether it is used on a dry or wet hair in able to provide accurately measurement and feedback about the hair.
