Meanwhile, Kerry Washington explained during the Television Critics Association that there were difficulties she encountered while filming "Scandal" Season 6, reports Refinery29. As most fans know, Washington was pregnant while the sixth season was in production, which led to a delay in the premiere of the show.

According to Washington, playing as Olivia Pope in "Scandal" Season 6 while pregnant was "really interesting" because her approach in acting often involves some sort of physicality with the role.
