"Grey's Anatomy" at the onset is more than just another doctor drama series. It is indeed a series that shows a whole lot of emotions and one cannot categorically call it just drama, precisely because of the fact that it also involves romance and sometimes, comedy. And this multi-dimensional approach makes it one of the most watched shows these days.

On January 26th, it will come back to the silvers creen along with "Scandal" and "How to Get Away with Murder" - all three shows written by Shonda Rhimes tagged as the #TGIT block. The "Thank God It's Thursday" block was originally scheduled to premiere on January 19th but was bumped off by the Donald Trump pre-inaugural special show on ABC.

Wondering about what will happen next to "Grey's Anatomy"? One thing is confirmed, it is sure that a follow-up the #JapriltheMovie episode which had everyone at the edge of their seats, due to the romance and chemistry the two characters have, will get airtime in the next season. The stand-alone episode featuring Jackson and April episode will be followed up with another full-blown episode, according to Sarah Drew.

The truth is that the Jackson/April episode was already filmed and is set to air this coming March! Fans will be very surprised with the outcome of the episode, however. Drew explained, "It's just the two of us and then we go to Montana for a case. So, we are forced to look at each other and be in small spaces and navigate the entire thing together. Really, it is an extreme way for a turning point in the Japril relationship."

The new episode will not be just like the first one though. "Japril the Movie is really far from the new episode. It is very, very different. That is young and playful and very dynamic like everyone is taken for a treat with time. But this one is lighter and provides hope. This episode is a bit more mature - quiet, romantic but intimate. Seriously, it's lovely and we are very proud!"
