"Scandal" along with two other top-rating shows, "Grey's Anatomy" and "How to Get Away with Murder" are expected to premiere the back-to-back this coming January 19th on ABC. However, it seems like fans in the US and Canada - and all over the world, will have to wait another week for their initial offering after their hiatus.

Scandal Season 6 Schedule: In an announcement made by ABC, the sixth season of the much talked about drama series will be delayed for another week as they will be showing president-elect Donald Trump's special pre-inauguration installment to air on January 19th. The bad news also affects "Grey's Anatomy" and "How to Get Away with Murder" - the latter which is already in its third season will try to find out who killed Wes Gibbons. The main character was found in a fire that broke out in Annaliese Keating's house but biopsy shows a different side to it. It seems like someone is indeed trying to get away with murder. Will it be one of the Keating 5?

#TGIT Postponed: ABC branded the triple Shonda Rhymes shows in a "Thank God It's Thursday" block and will be shown on January 26th instead. "America's First Family: The Trumps Go to Washington" will take the 10/9c slot, while ABC is expected to show past episodes of Grey's Anatomy and Scandal back-to-back at 8/9c and 9/10c.

It seems like the network does not want to premiere the episodes unless they are all starting on the same date. Big ratings are expected as the three are easily the highest rating shows on the network. That means, three brand new episodes and one hell of a night is in store for the fans!

It may be just one week but the agony of anticipation probably annoys the heck out of everyone waiting for these shows to premiere. It can only be worth it if these shows' first episodes will wrack the brains out of its fan's skulls. Here is the latest promo for "How to Get Away with Murder" mid-season premiere "We're Bad People", here:
