If you are in the United States and you have pre-ordered Capcom's "Resident Evil 7," the developer will give you pre-order bonuses that are themed within "Resident Evil" movies. However, this is not a tie-in for "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" that was released three days after the game but it focuses on the older movies of the franchise.
If you pre-ordered "Resident Evil 7" at GameStop or through the Xbox Store, you will get the RE7 Survival Pack add-on, which contains a Supply Box that includes items like herbs and other first aid stuff as well as a digital copy of "Resident Evil: Retribution." According to GameSpot, those who pre-ordered the game through the PlayStation Store will get a code for 40 percent discount of the "Resident Evil" collection.
The "Resident Evil" collection includes the five "Resident Evil" movies that have been released such as "Resident Evil," "Resident Evil: Afterlife," "Resident Evil: Apocalypse," "Resident Evil: Extinction" and "Resident Evil: Retribution." It costs $40 and this means that the 40 percent off allows you to purchase it for only $24.
According to VG247, for "Resident Evil 7" pre-orders at GameStop for PS4 and Xbox One, a redemption code is given and will be available through the Xbox Store and on the VUDU app on PS4, which is available until Feb. 6. For Xbox Store digital pre-orders, a redemption code will be available through the Xbox Live message to download the movie, which will be delivered 10 - 14 days after the offer ends on Feb. 6.
Moreover, for PlayStation Network digital pre-orders, a code will also be sent via the PSN system message for 40 percent discount on the HD movie bundle "Resident Evil" Collection on the PlayStation Store. This is available for "Resident Evil 7" pre-orders until Jan. 23.
It is worthy to note that this offer is only available to U.S. residents only. "Resident Evil 7" is slated for release on Jan. 24 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
