"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be available to preload on PC on EA's Origin starting on March 17, apparently. Here are the details.

Reddit users' kami77 and GameM4T both posted screencaps of their Origin accounts showing the pre-load date and times. It was seen that when you pre-order the title, the game will display in your library and will show the pre-load date, which is March 17, 2017. EA or BioWare, however, does not yet officially confirm this information, but we at Mobile & Apps will furnish a report with more information as soon as it becomes available.

Unfortunately, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" still lacks PC requirements. According to Gamespot, EA has specified it will release those expected specs in the coming weeks. It is also highly expected that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be playable earlier for subscribers of EA's Origin.

BioWare GM Aaryn Flynn recently said that the company might release news about the spacefaring RPG's system requirements sometime in February 2017. The pre-loading details for "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions have not yet been announced.

Meanwhile, EA Access members on Xbox One will be able to play "Mass Effect: Andromeda" a few days ahead of the game's launch on March 21. It has also been confirmed that the game will back HDR on all platforms and will not have a Season Pass.

One thing that has been confirmed for the PC version earlier this week is controller support -- which "Mass Effect 2" and "Mass Effect 3" lacked. This seems to be one of the many considerations the game developer thought of while working on "Mass Effet: Andromeda." PCGamesn said that the best thing about this news is that you can freely shift between controller and mouse and keyboard flawlessly. You can crease yourself after a cover or nonchalantly travel a hub with the controller; you can also split alien heads with your mouse.
