Spike Chunsoft has announced that it is limiting the PlayStation 4 feature in "Danganronpa V3 Killing Harmony", which prevents players from sharing their progress or any screenshots from Chapter 2 until later. The reason behind the move is not yet clear. The game company is wishing to prevent this for now to avoid spoilers. This is for fans who have not bought the game yet, including those in the West. In addition, only the prologue and Chapter 1 are available for sharing---any chapters after those will prevent PlayStation share feature from capturing scenes or gameplay further.
Based on the translation of the warning in Gematsu, it clearly states that players should prevent in spreading any spoilers in the game. Not everyone plays at the same levels or chapter, which is why this warning helps. Moreover, Spike Chunsoft makes everything easy for fans and players who have not bought "Danganronpa V3 Killing Harmony" yet. On the other side, some fans also think that this is just another way to gain more profit in selling the game more. But, the purpose of true experience always come on top and the game company prioritises on that.
Spoilers will appear anyways
"Danganronpa V3 Killing Harmony" is getting around quickly because of its new plot that may be a sequel or a prequel-sequel. Other than the PlayStation 4 share feature, Spike Chunsoft cannot stop other fans there because there are other recording programs for it. Some may be affected because of the limitations of the games, but hopefully Spike Chunsoft will do something about this when the game is released for some time already. "Spoilers will pop somehow, anyway." Other means are present and some data miners may have ways in tinkering with the programs in the game. "Danganronpa V3" demo is now out in Japan and will be released on January 12, while the North America and Europe release will be somewhere this year.
