"Sherlock" Season 4 spoilers are noting on the possible appearance of Tom Hiddleston next to Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock's third brother, Sherrinford. Vanity Fair pieced together several clues that hint on Hiddleston's appearance in the upcoming episodes of the BBC drama.

Back then, there were speculations surrounding Sherlock's third brother, as he was referenced as "the other one" in previous episodes. The teaser presented during the Comic-Con for "Sherlock" Series 4 also showed clues such as "Thatcher," "Smith" and "Sherrinford."

The first two clues have already been made known to the viewers as the plaster (for "Thatcher") and the new villain (for Culverton "Smith"). The remaining clue, "Sherrinford," in "Sherlock" Season 4, however still remains a mystery.

Mark Gatiss fuelled speculations that Hiddleston will be playing Sherrinford in Season 4 after posting a photo next to the "Avengers" actor. Gatiss also referred to Hiddleston as "blud," a term Sherlock uses to refer to his brother, Mycroft.

Meanwhile, fans also could not accept the fact that Mary Watson may have already died in "Sherlock" Season 4. As Bustle notes, there have been several hints that Mary may still be alive.

First, actress Amanda Abbington shared a photo of herself on set wearing a wig, which led to speculations that Mary may have faked her death to protect her family from her past. Fans also believe that this is just one of the many plot twists that the writers have up their sleeves.
