"NCIS" Season 14 spoilers note on the possibility that Michael Weatherly will no longer reprise his role as agent Tony DiNozzo. In an interview with TVLine, the actor admitted that he misses being with his co-stars, but his time in the show has already concluded.

Weatherly explained that when he decided to leave "NCIS," he was already ready to give that role a closure. He said that he was ready to move on and did not have any regrets in leaving the show.

"I felt very satiated by my experience at 'NCIS,'" he said.

As most fans can recall, "NCIS" Season 13 finale ended with DiNozzo deciding to leave the team after finding out that he and Ziva (Cote de Pablo) had a daughter. Many fans expected for Weatherly to drop by the series sometime in the future because his character was not killed off.

Meanwhile, DiNozzo's exit from the team meant a promotion for another. In an interview with Parade, Jennifer Esposito said that Quinn's promotion in "NCIS" Season 14 happened quickly.

She also addressed rumors of a possible romance between Quinn and Gibbs (Mark Harmon) in "NCIS" Season 14. Esposito said that it would be better if the two simply remained as friends since their relationship might get ruined if they enter a relationship and things turn sour between them.
