Do you guys remember the TV show "Charmed?" It was a show about three gorgeous witches that ran from 1998 to 2006 and it was very popular at that time. Well, a report by Den of Geek stated that a reboot of the show is in the works after years of rumors and false starts.

According to the report, the CW Network has ordered an hour-long pilot of "Charmed" with a brand new cast. The show will sort of be a prequel to the original and it will be run by Jennie Snyder, creator of "Jane the Virgin." The reboot is set a few years before the events of the original and will move the three new characters to a small New England town.

The new cast of characters will be Tina, an African-American who's close to earning her PhD and can be standoffish in uncomfortable situations; Paige, a wholesome all-American Caucasian woman, who focuses to marry a rich doctor and start a family; And Annie, a smart, tough Caucasian woman who's also desperate to love and be loved. All three new characters are reportedly not related to the original characters.

According to a report by TV Line, the announcement of the reboot stirred mixed reactions from fans of the original show. However, the original cast had nothing but good things to say. Holly Marie Combs, the actor who played the role of Piper Halliwell in all eight seasons of the show, tweeted, "We wish them well." Alyssa Milano, who played the role of Phoebe Halliwell, tweeted, "#Charmed fans! There are no fans like you. You're the best of the best."
