"Destiny" fans still enjoy a selection of events as game developer Bungie prepares for the "Destiny 2" release following the end of "Destiny: The Dawning" this week.

The Destiny developer has listed the Dawning bonuses and events that will remain in its first blog update this year. These include weekly Elite Bounties from Commander Zavala, Daily Vanguard Elite Bounties from the Bounty Trackers and the Strike scoring will be sticking around. In addition, Eververse and Siler Dust Store will remain while weekly Dawning treasures can be acquired for completing a Heroic Strike and Sparrow Racing still continues in private battles.

"The Competitive Spirit Record Book can still be completed for rewards through SRL Private Matches, Daily "Vanguard Elite" Bounties, and Strikes from the SIVA Crisis or Nightfall playlists," Bungie added. "If you're still holding onto your SRL Record Book from 2015, it will not be tracked in Private Matches. Enjoying some speed with your friends is a reward in itself."

Meanwhile, even though the studio mentioned that they are not ready for any huge reveals just yet, they have given some cues of what lies ahead this year. According the Bungie's post, it will be raising back up to full strength.

They will be getting back to the studio to fill those positions on their desks one by one. They regroup and prepare for Destiny's another year while resuming the conversation about the rituals that will apparently return to the said game from time to time.

Bungie is highly anticipated to reveal "Destiny 2" in 2017 as the developer's too busy hiring new members to work on the game. With regard to which part needs improvement, the original's lackluster storytelling is what the developer wants to progress on.

Moreover, Bungie has a possible plan of releasing series of smaller story updates all throughout the course of the "Destiny 2" cycle.
