After numerous delays, Samsung Galaxy S3 has finally arrived at AT&T stores for in-house purchases. However, it seems that the carrier is still short on shipments as some stores are reporting limited availability.
According to multiple sources, Samsung Galaxy S3 is available for purchases at AT&T stores, but some stores are still reporting supply shortage. Folks at International Business Times are reporting that Samsung Galaxy S3 is available across the Time Square and Penn Station AT&T stores in New York, while the rest of stores in the city, they approached, are reporting limited stock availability.
AT&T is in delay loop since it acknowledged customers that Galaxy S3 preorders will arrive "on or before June 21". On June 21, AT&T pushed back preorder roll out date to June 25. Some of AT&T customers received their preorders on the highlighted date, but most of the users were left out the preorder roll out.
AT&T customers who preordered the smartphone are at an ease. However, new buyers need to hurry up as stock can vanish anytime. AT&T is allowing customers to reserve the smartphone to pick up later today. Looking at the popularity of Samsung Galaxy S3, we doubt that stock may not last the whole day across all AT&T stores.
AT&T offers the Galaxy S3 in 16GB version only for $199 on two year contract. However, filling the hole, it will offer the Galaxy S3 in exclusive "red", apart from Marble White and Pebble Blue editions. The announcement regarding the availability of the rare Galaxy S3 edition is still pending.
