As the company said, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is engineered to deliver exceptionally long battery life. It uses 25 percent less power of your devices, giving your smartphones stronger and long performance at the same time. Report says Qualcomm also boosted its quick charge capabilities, claiming a 20% faster charging.

A camera is one of the useful things in a smartphone, so improvements in camera are also included in Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 as well. Better HDR with support for a single 32MP camera and faster auto focus.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 supports 60 times more colors, object and scene-based 3D audio, and motion tracking that includes six degrees of freedom according to Wired report. This is the same number that you will find in an Oculus Rift head-mounted display.

Gigabit LTE will eventually support by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. Faster than what most home Wi-Fi can manage. These networks haven't rolled out in any significant way yet, but when they do, they are going to be critical for enabling VR and AR on the go.
