It looks like fans of Bandai Namco's hit role-playing video game, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" are in for a treat. The studio is reportedly gearing up to roll out another downloadable content (DLC) that will be coming straight from the Japanese anime series, "Dragon Ball Super." The impending content is likely to add more characters from the anime series.
'Dragon Ball Super' DLC
Not too long ago, Bandai Namco and Dimps rolled out "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 1. But avid players of the game are already clamoring for the second DLC, which has been in the works and is expected to be released in near future.
Drawing inspiration from "Dragon Ball Super," the DLC Pack 2 for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will feature a slew of key characters from the hit anime series. That includes Zamasu, Super Saiyan Pink Goku Black, Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Vegito, Vados and Champa, according to Christian Times.
No prizes for guessing, the game developer and publisher are highly inspired by the giants in the Future Trunks arc of the aforesaid series. If multiple reports running rampant online come to fruition, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" players will soon have something to cheer about in the form of biggest expansion in the game's history.
More DLCs Coming Soon
There's word floating around, hinting that the team behind "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is currently hard at work on more "Dragon Ball Super"-inspired content. The said DLC will particularly take inspirations from the anime's Universe Survival arc. Moreover, following the arrival of Cabba and Frost, more characters from the anime are likely to make their way towards the game.
The game's producer, Masayuki Hirano, laid emphasis on the publisher's plan to introduce more content from "DBS" to the game, during an interview with Crunchyroll.
Hirano also revealed that they are taking all possibilities of including contents based on community suggestions in near future into consideration. "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is currently up for grabs on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
