Recently the Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg updated a post on his official Facebook page, in which he had wished all his followers a "Merry Christmas" and a "Happy Hanukkah." As a reply to one of the followers' questions in the comments below the post, Mark responded saying that he had questioned the idea of religion and various religious beliefs for a while and now that he feels that religion is an important aspect of every man's life. The response clearly shows Mark's transition from an atheist to a religious person. However, he did not reveal what religion he believes in.
Facebook Founder Wishes Fans for Christmas
On the Christmas day, Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg shared his greetings to his over 83 million followers on his official page. In his post, he said that he and his family PriscillaChan, Max and Beast are wishing all a Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah, as reported by Daily Mail.
He also stated that it is one of his favourite things to see the joyful moments and the family that people share as a community on Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg said that he hopes that all his followers are surrounded by their friends and loved ones so that they will be able to reflect on all the meaningful things in their life. He wished all saying "May the light of your friendships continue to brighten your life and our entire world."
Mark's Stance on Religion
To this post, someone had asked, "But aren't you an atheist?" Mark replied to this comment that he was raised Jewish and has questioned religious beliefs for a while and that he believes that religion is an important aspect of a man's life, as reported by Just Jarred. It is notable that Mark Zuckerberg's wife, Priscilla Chan follows Buddhism and he has also cultivated interest on the through his wife. The family met the Pope during the last summer where they discussed the importance of connecting people, and helping those who are unable to access the internet.
