January has just begun yet avid gamers on various platforms are already looking forward to the titles that will be coming out in 2017. Sony's 2016 PlayStation Experience and E3 teased some of the games that players can soon experience in the coming months.

Gaming website Nerd Much? has released a list that includes a whopping 37 titles that will come out this year, and the games will be playable on different consoles. First in the list is Nintendo's "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," which will be released in early 2017 for the Nintendo Switch. The game features Link, and players can explore an open world setting in the title.

Next is the hack and slash game "Nioh" which is developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo and Sony. The title features William, a Caucasian samurai in 1600s Japan who battles both normal human enemies and yokai (supernatural creatures). The game will be released on Feb. 9.

Third is YS Net's "Shenmue 3" which has a Dec. 2017 release date. PS4 and PC players can look forward to the sequel which will continue Ryo Hazuki's story. The title will also feature Lan Di, the man who murdered Ryo's father, along with Niao Sun, a new antagonist.

Fourth in the extensive list is EA and Bioware's "Mass Effect: Andromeda" which will also be released in the first quarter of 2017. The third-person shooter takes place after the original "Mass Effect" trilogy. Gamers will also be able to choose between a male or female player character.

While its release date still hasn't been confirmed, "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" already has fans of the franchise excited. Capcom's hit crossover fighting game will once again feature characters from titles such as "Megaman" and "Street Fighter." The PS4 game will also include superheroes from Marvel such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Captain Marvel.

The list also includes other titles such as "Vampyr," "Batallion 1944," "Overkill's The Walking Dead," "State of Decay 2," and "Pyre." Other games for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch will be made available in 2017.
