It takes a while to get the hang of "Titanfall 2." Even for the FPS lover who has dealt with sighting, ducking, sliding and strafing from the numerous shooters over the years, the game's wall running, wall-hanging, boost-sliding and jumping may prove tricky. Flawlessly blending these movies altogether in both solo and multiplayer modes is what makes the recently released game worthy of your time -- as no other shooter before has movement been so integral.

Respawn's first-person shooter has received hefty positive reviews from all over the web; an impressive feat, considering it shares the same niche as biggies like "Call of Duty" and "Destiny." Both games execute fancy acrobatic mechanics, but in "Titanfall 2," momentum is key.

"Titanfall 2's" fluidity cements its name up on the pedestal, way above 2016's shooters. Once a gamer masters its different jump combos and has learned to chain moves to kill, it's easy to realize no game can ever be compared to it. "Titanfall 2 feels like the game Respawn should have made in 2013. It's a fantastic sequel. It's a fluid shooter. It's a spectacular game," notes Mike Mahardy in a review on GameSpot.

While its solo campaign is a star in its own right, "Titanfall 2's" multiplayer mode is instantly action-packed with enthralling hit and run and die and respawn cycles. The sequel is the materialization of what fans had always wanted; that is, more of everything. The devs managed to infuse more maps, more unlocks, more Titan classes and more reasons to play.

While sales have not been so great for the game, "Titanfall 2" managed to carve a name of its own to the few who gave it a shot. According to Forbes, EA's decision to release the game in the middle of the two biggest shooters of the year -- "Battlefield 1" and "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" -- is to be blamed.

Nevertheless, those who have played "Titanfall 2" know for a fact that it deserves more than just the hushed praises it has for now. It may not be the best game there is; but it surely is the most diverse campaign shooter released in 2016.
