Samsung is now the one of the most popular device manufacturer in the word. The company makes smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and many more. This coming year, the company has reported to launch eight new devices.

2016 has not been good for Samsung because of the Galaxy Note 7 issue. In 2017, the company will stand up to the challenge and will try to gain back the legacy of their name on device manufacturing. They will launch eight new devices to prove that they still reliable in this industry.

Galaxy X

A foldable smartphone will have a debut next year. The Samsung new Galaxy X series will be put to the test if it does well in the market. The device is expected to project one continuous screen when stretched to its full form, but a smaller one when folded.

Galaxy S8

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be the company's redemption from their Note 7 scandal. The device is rumored to have edge-to-edge display with a fingerprint sensor embedded inside, no home button, and USB-C jack instead of the 3.5mm audio jack are expected to this handset.

Galaxy Note 8

This Samsung Note device is going to test its fortunes in 2017. According to Yahoo report, the Note 8 might not have the same problems as its predecessor as its batteries will most probably be supplied by LG. Samsung might try its hands at a dual-screen display for the device and continue with the stylus design.

Galaxy A-series devices

At CES 2017, Samsung will launch the 2017 edition of A3, A5 and A7 devices. These three handsets are reported to come with a USB-C port. The Galaxy A3, A5, and A7 is expected to be a 4.7-inch, 5.2-inch, and 5.7-inch devices respectively.

Gear S4 smartwatch

Thinner than the existing Gear S3 device, the company's new Gear S4 is 20 percent more battery efficiency. It was announced in October and it will mass produce the Exynos 7 Dual 7270 processor for wearable devices.

Gear VR 2 and Gear VR 3

These two Virtual Reality gears, was confirmed by the Samsung Electronics Vice-president Dr. Sung-Hoon on Dec. 16, 2016. The launch of the second and third iteration of the Gear VR headset in 2017. The company's 2017 VR device is expected to be a modification of the device based on the Microsoft HoloLens and Magic Leap technologies, which will combine virtual reality with real-world environments.

Galaxy J series devices

The Samsung J series is reportedly to upgrade next year. Speculated to have bigger batteries and new processors from Qualcomm replacing the existing devices' Snapdragon 430 and 6750 processors.

QLED TVs

Samsung is also manufacturing appliances. Press From report says, the company will unveil the new quantum dot display TVs at CES 2017. The TVs are expected to achieve a high light output of 1,500 nits compared to 1000 nits on the previous models and deliver 50 percent better performance than existing models.
