Having been in Early Access development since September, "Osiris: New Dawn" has presented avid gamers with the "Dawn of Aziel" update last week. The game's major update brought on a plethora of awesome additions, including a new moon, a skill tree, resources and additional weapons.

The game's brand new moon is a frozen tundra called Aziel. Unlike Proteus II, Aziel is far larger than the other moon; three times larger to be exact. Aziel is a haven of new resources, but along it are alien creatures that could wreak havoc to one's home base. However, "Osiris: New Dawn" has been added with new weapons to aid battle, one of which is the Heavy Assault Rifle. Gamers can also now create landmines to blast off grazing aliens, or to protect the base from acquiring damage.

The "Dawn of Aziel" update also brought on a new skill tree system. This lets players spend points in the mining, combat, or engineering categories. Its development studio, Fenix Fire Entertainment, did not provide specific details on the new system, although it is expected that more features will be added over time, considering "Osiris: New Dawn" is still in development.

Among other game additions are events that happen throughout one's journey. This may include crashed satellites or weather anomalies, which may prove worthy of investigating. The ability to build the Osiris Armored Mech has been also enabled, "Osiris: New Dawn's" most powerful weapon.

"Osiris: New Dawn" was initially released for Early Access in September 28, 2016. Fenix Fire Entertainment hasn't given out the official release date for the game yet, although the Early Access FAQ states that the development process could a take a year.

You can get the game right now on Steam for $24.99. "Osiris: New Dawn" is also available for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
