Players love some fantasy with the slice of life elements mixed in. Now, Gust games reveal their new game that talks about a girl that battles her way through and saves her classmates and fellow students from Pure Breeds and monsters in "Blue Reflection: Sword of the Girl Who Dances in Illusions". Though these monsters and monstrosities cannot be fought and vanquished in the real world, the protagonist, Hinako Shirai, who can visit the realm where she can stop these monsters-----The Other World. Despite the abominations that she will need to fight in order to maintain peace and order, Gust is aiming a theme that will be highlighted in the game, considering that all characters are female.

RPG themed fantasy game with a great story

The main character in "Blue Reflection," named Hinako, is a simple girl that loves ballet. However, her passion for the dance was cut short because of her foot injury, which made her unable to do the thing she loves the most. Despite these happenings, she met two sisters named Raimu and Yuzuki Shijou and became a "Reflector." She hopes that being a Reflector will heal her foot and go back to her passion in dancing.

The flow of the game and other features revealed

Based on the post from Gematsu, the main character can communicate with other students and classmates to increase stats and obtain valuable information, as well as the slice of life dialogues that leaves players thinking about life, too. Since players will be playing Hinako, who is also a high school girl in the real world, they need to mingle with her classmates and make sure everything is in order at the same time as a Reflector. The game mostly relies on the RPG genre with turn based action. There will be a line on top of the screen with faces of the characters and enemies. The one that meets the middle, where the arrow pointing down is located, that character or enemy will have a turn to attack. Just like other RPG games from Gust, "Blue Reflection" will be the game for players who are fans of cute anime girls with lots of guts. Killing monsters in the Other World will solve the student's problems in the real world. The game will be released on March 30 for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita platforms.
