After the successful "Pokemon Go" Halloween event, fans have been anticipating and hoping for a follow up that will most especially take place during the Christmas season. Well wish granted! Niantic has officially announced that in less than 48 hour the "Pokemon Go" Christmas event and a year-end event will take place that will begin with a lot of major surprises and treats for fans.
First things first, the latest addition to the world of "Pokemon Go" which are the Baby Pokemon Togepi, Pichu and more will now be easy for players to hatch and obtain the cute little creatures. Niantic will maximize the chances for players to hatching one or more Johto region baby Pokemon which will begin on Dec. 25, 2016 up until Jan. 3, 2017. The event was announced on their official "Pokemon Go" page.
"Pokemon Go" players will have higher chances in hatching Baby Pokemon because Niantic will be giving away "one single-use" incubators every day. The incubators can be obtained through Pokestops after your first Photo Disc spin.
Earlier this month, Niantic has already treated players with the limited edition Santa Pikachu where players can encounter the electric type Pokemon wearing a Santa hat will still be available in the said events. Another helpful treat is that players can now lure at a Pokestop for over an hour instead of the 30 minutes.
If you're one of the "Pokemon Go" players who does not have the second and final evolution of the Kanto region starters, you have a chance to do so starting in the afternoon on Dec. 30, 2016 until the afternoon of Jan. 8, 2017. Niantic will be increasing the spawns of the Kanto region starters.
"Pokemon Go" players will have more chances in encountering in catching the grass-poison, Bulbasaur, Ivysaur and it final evolution Venusaur as well as the water-type Squirtle, Wartortle and its final evolution Blastoise. The fire type starter Pokemon of the Kanto region, Charmander, Charmeleon and its final evolution Charizard will also have an increase chance for
