A recent "Civilization 6" DLC just introduced new features into Firaxis' complex strategy title to further improve and polish its gameplay. In addition, two new paid DLCs are now available, adding Polish queen Jadwiga to the ranks of esteemed "Civ 6" leaders and Poland as a playable civ while a new Vikings Scenario Pack is touted as the most detailed scenario released thus far.

Jadwiga Leads New Civ Poland

A new paid DLC introduces a new player into the fray. Jadwiga joins the pool of playable "Civilization 6" leaders and will lead the newly-minted civ Poland. By the looks of it, Poland is one formidable civ to use in the game, with the special abilities of its leader coupled its unique unit and building.

Playing as the new Polish queen Jadwiga offers unique advantages that players can exploit. For instance, Poland has a unique ability called "Golden Liberty" which basically allows players to grab territory from neighboring civs by simply building a Fort or Encampment, reports the game's official site. In addition, players have an advantage in cultural flexibility as they may convert a Military Policy into a Wildcard.

The Polish forces also possess a strong offensive unique unit called Winged Hussar which have the added ability of knocking back enemy units. The unique building Sukiennice or Cloth Hall give extra production bonus for international trading routes while also gives extra gold for internal trades. The "Civilization 6" DLC costs $ 4.99 on steam.

Vikings Scenario Pack

Meanwhile, another "Civ 6" DLC offers what is touted to be the most detailed scenario released for the strategy title. The updates adds six city-states to the base game namely, Auckland, Antananarivo, Armagh, Granada, Muscat and Palenque. Each of these states offers various bonuses such as industrial, cultural, religious, militaristic and trade.

With the Vikings Scenario pack installed, strategy gamers can play as the "Civilization 6" leaders Harald Hardrada, Canute or Olof in a 100 turn challenge from the year 787 to 1087. In addition, the pack also adds three natural wonders to the game, the Eyjafjallajökull, Lysefjord and Giant's Causeway. The Vikings Scenario pack costs $4.99 on Steam.

New Features, Map, Adjustments, Bug Fixes

Meanwhile a free "Civ 6" update introduces new features, balancing adjustments and various bug fixes to enhance its gameplay. The most notable of these changes is the new Alert feature which basically places units on standby or sleep mode until an enemy unit comes close. A new standard-sized map has been added as well and a new reply option for Wonders completion videos is now available.

Strategy gamers are optimistic that Firaxis' strategy title will only get better with time as more fine tunings and new contents are eventually added into the base game. Be sure to stay tuned to MobilenApps for the latest "Civilization 6" DLC news and updates.
