The Huawei Mate 9 is set to be released in the United States next year. This latest device is packed with massive upgrades and boasts of 80 percent faster performance as compared to its rival smartphones.

Build And Design

The Huawei Mate 9, like the iPhone 7 Plus, has a premium look. Both phones are slim and sleek. Both have IPS LCD, fingerprint sensors, and dual-lens camera element. However, the Mate 9's fingerprint sensor is not as smooth as compared to the iPhone 7 Plus.

Smart Feature

The Huawei Mate 9 is boosted with an enhanced machine learning algorithm that studies a user's behavior. Huawei claims that the Mate 9 performs 50 percent faster than its predecessor. In addition, it is 80 percent faster than its rival phones based on a simulated use for 16 months.

Dual-Lens Camera

The Huawei Mate 9 is equipped with a dual-lens camera (20 MP +12 MP) and an 8 MP front camera. In terms of color and contrast, the Mate 9 appears to have paler results in displaying photos as compared to the iPhone 7 Plus' crisp and sharp resolution. The iPhone 7 Plus photos display tones closer to the actual image. On the other hand, the Mate 9 has a dynamic range that conveys outstanding details. It is also interesting to note that while the Mate 9's dual-lens bank on software processing, it surprisingly produces impressive results.

Rapid-Charging Battery

the Huawei Mate 9 is packed with 4,000 mAh battery, while the iPhone 7 Plus has a lower battery capacity. However, both are energy-saving devices that can last up to two days of light to normal usage. The Mate 9 also has a supercharging feature; in just 30 minutes, 58 percent of the device's battery will be filled up. The iPhone 7 Plus however, only fills up to 19 percent with the same time frame.
