Game publisher Electronic Arts is now preparing to build up the fans' excitement for the first downloadable content of its popular World War I first-person shooter title, "Battlefield 1," dubbed as "They Shall Not Pass." So far, the latest information that the company has released for the expansion is an image depicting of what appears to be a stand off between two opposing forces.

The new teaser was brought to light by the company on its recent Twitter update that is accompanied by a French caption "Soyez prêts," which translates to "Be ready." It shows the French army going up against the invading German soldiers in an enclosed space; probably a bunker of some sort.

Interestingly enough, it seems like other contents are to be expected in the "They Shall Not Pass" DLC for "Battlefield 1." One user on the Twitter thread has noticed that a new gun would most likely get introduced into the game, specifically a machine gun.

"Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass" DLC release date

Those who are excited to get their hands on the upcoming DLC, unfortunately, will have to wait a bit longer. EA has mentioned on its post that "They Shall Not Pass" is not scheduled to come out on all the supported platforms of "Battlefield 1" until March 2017. Sadly, the company still hasn't revealed the specific launch date for it but more updates regarding the matter should surface in the coming months.

"Battlefield 1" Premium Pass contents

It is still unclear whether "They Shall Not Pass" will become available as a standalone purchase. But one thing is for sure, though, fans who have already bought the Premium Pass will most certainly receive the upcoming "Battlefield 1" post-launch content.

In addition to the new armies, fans should also expect to see other amazing contents in the package. To be more specific, EA listed that the Premium Pass will contain 16 new Multiplayer maps, new Elite Classes, 20 new Weapons, new Vehicles, and new features to try like Operations and game modes.

"Battlefield 1" is now available on current-generation consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as on Windows PC.
