Parts of Apple iPhone 5 have started leaking online. From different sources, we have received some images of what appears to be casing of next generation iPhone. However, both these sources have provided identical pictures, showing unibody design, new dock connector and larger display with increase to the height of upcoming Apple smartphone.

Folks at 9to5Mac have received some high quality pictures of what appears to be black and white models of next generation iPhone. 9to5Mac's image suppliers also noted that the tech giant will also offer its upcoming smartphone in two additional colors, other than the traditional black and white models. As claimed by iLounge earlier this month, the back panel is a combination of aluminum and glass. The body is mainly composed of aluminum with a glassy touch at the top and bottom end of rear panel. The glass in the back and over the display, as a protection layer, is likely to be Corning Gorilla Glass 2.

Courtesy of uBreakiFix, folks at Engadget have also uploaded identical images of iPhone 5. The images also show a smaller dock connector located at the bottom. Surprisingly, Apple is moving 3.5mm audio jack to the bottom in iPhone 5, if the leaked photos are to be believed. The body is much taller than previous version of iPhone, suggesting that the rumors about Apple upping the screen size of next generation iPhone are real.

Other hardware specs like processor, memory, and screen resolution are still unknown. Apple is likely to introduce a powerful processor in iPhone 5, while 4G LTE connectivity is almost confirmed, following the release of new iPad.

We know that the next generation iPhone will feature iOS 6, new maps application, and improved version of Siri. However, in hardware department, there are only speculations and rumors indication inclusion of a variant of A5X processor chip, 1GB of RAM and 16/32/64GB of internal storage to be featured in Apple iPhone 5.
