"Final Fantasy XV" is going to get another huge update, which aims to fill in some shortcomings on certain chapters and some gameplay hiccups. Will this still be something worth waiting around for before proceeding with the game?

Just like how Kotaku described it in their report, a lot of people might start wondering why they have to buy games on day one. "Final Fantasy XV" is one screaming example of this scenario, though it isn't exactly as bad as it sounds.

Tabata posted an update to Square Enix's official blog regarding the aim to improve "Final Fantasy XV" by introducing yet another update.

"We want you to enjoy Final Fantasy XV for a long time to come," he states in the blog.

The initial update states that there will be a number of changes in the game's aspect as well as additional enhancements specifically for Chapter 13. For those who haven't power played "Final Fantasy XV" yet, this one's sure treat though there will be hundreds, if not thousands who have already cleared the game last week.

Additional scenes will be incorporated in the game, though there weren't a lot of details regarding how this will actually happen.

Finally, there's a huge consideration with bringing the character customization on the table. This isn't just changing the clothes as the update mentions something about a unique avatar created by the players as they see fit.

There's also a New Game plus to look forward to, letting early birds actually see what changes will be added in the storyline without forcing them to start over as the stats will be carried over.

While it sounds funny in a not so good way, day one purchases of "Final Fantasy XV" started to look like uncalled for beta testing,as Kotaku puts it. Still, we've waited 10 years for "Final Fantasy XV" to be out and every reason to play it longer is nothing, but pure justice.
