Xiaomi And Lenovo are two main competitors in the mid-range price segment. Today, we will look at two of their most popular smartphones - the Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Lenovo K6 Note.
The Redmi 4 Prime has a 5-inch IPS panel with a 1080 x 1920 full-HD resolution with 441ppi. The smartphone also equips a 3GB RAM, which works on an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked in at 2.0GHz each. It has a 32GB internal memory which can be expanded with a microSD card for up to 256GB. On the other hand, the K6 Note has a 5.5 Inch IPS LCD capacitive screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution at 401 ppi.
Talking about the camera and software, the Redmi 4 Prime has 5-megapixel f/2.2 front-facing camera for selfies and a 13-megapixel f/2.2 back camera with a dual-tone LED flash. It runs on Android Marshmallow (6.0.1) which is skinned with Xiaomi's MIUI 8 interface. The K6 Note has a 16 MP camera with phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash. Its front camera is of 8 MP.
On the battery side, the Redmi 4's battery is a 4100mAh Lithium-ion battery which can keep it running for almost 30 hours of talk-time. The K6 Note, on the other hand, has a little smaller Li-Po 4000 mAh battery. The time each of these phones give on battery completely depends on how they are used.
Both of these phones blow life in the mid-range price segment and come with decent features. Xiaomi has been lately impressive with its offering; on the top of that, its MIUI skin adds a great personality to the phone; however, the K6 Note with a slightly bigger display can surely steal the advantage. For those looking to buy a decent phone in the mid-range price segment, these two are worth putting into consideration.
