More evidence regarding "Rick and Morty" Season 3's broadcast premiere delay are surfacing around the Internet.

Series writer Erica Rosbe was invited as a guest on a podcast aired last September and hinted the show would be finalized within a few weeks, leading the already-known speculation that the show would premiere sometime on December 2016 or sooner. A month later, however, she clarified that there is no official release date announcement.

CinemaBlendnlater stated the reasons behind the show's delay and a few more info of its current production status. "Rick and Morty" co-creator Dan Harmon said that there is still no confirmed premiere date for the new season, but they are hoping the show to be ready to debut before the end of 2016.

With these earlier statements and because of some of the fans' growing impatience, speculation about the show's December 2016 release date become bigger.

However, in a previous report, Reddit user PopDavid disputed these rumors and clarified that the December season premiere is highly unlikely. Claiming to be the Design Assistant of the show, he mentioned that there are only 9 out of 14 episodes fully-written and only one episode fully-animated.

He also contradicted some of his co-workers' earlier statements, mentioning that they may reveal things that are not entirely accurate as of this point.

Furthermore, Inquisitr suggested that another evidence of the show's delay from Zen Monkey Studios, "Rick and Morty's" official merchandise partner. One of the studio's recent tweets, in form of an image macro meme, highly suggests the broadcast delay.

Zen Monkey Studios may not have detailed information on the show's release date, but their official relationship with the show's producers may give them a certain degree of reliability.

Fans may need to wait a little longer as "Rick and Morty" Season 3 may be premiered before Spring 2017, or possibly sooner, depending on the show's production speed.
