Along with some fixes, the recent patch update enables the support of mods on Playstation 4. Now what could these possible mean for the game? Given that the modding community has been active on some of other Bethesda games like "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," it is expected that these mods will bring in a new kind of interest to the game.

It is also worth noting that this mods support is only limited to those that use internal assets only. This means that compared to the PC version, the mods available will be limited for Playstation 4 gamers.

One of the most trending mods is Vanilla_Thunder's Developer Room mod which contains every item in the game (including weapons and armors). So yeah, this mod screams "god mode" and most likely will be installed in most of the Playstation 4 copies of the game in the next few weeks.

Interested? Christopher Groux' guide on how to get the Developer Room mod will have us covered.

Picking the mods

First of all, make sure that your "Fallout 4" game is already updated to the most recent version, which is 1.12 at the moment. After that you'll need to go to the mods section of the main menu and sign in with your Bethesda account. You may create one if you haven't already. Christopher notes that if you recently installed mods for your "Skyrim Special Edition," you can use the same account to sign in.

Another note of Christopher is, your PS4 mods are limited to only 1gb so you better keep an eye on how much of the mods you're stacking up. Some mods are dependent on other mods, always check on the description so you won't end up wondering why a certain mod doesn't work. Since you need to load the mods dependent with each other at the same time, you can configure them to do so to to prevent incompatibility issues.

Finding the Developer Room

For this instance, you'll want to pick up the "Developer Room" by Vanilla Thunder and install it. Based from the description which says "adds a door near Sanctuary" you might be wondering where the heck that door is. To find that door (which leads to "Developer Room"), head to the Sanctuary workbench. Turning around will let you see a yellow house with a busted fence. Go through the hole in that fence and you should be able to see a second hole. After that you'll be seeing a door which will let you enter the "Developer Room."

We hope you enjoy your arsenal of weapons and armors (along with all the items) that will help you on your adventures in the wasteland. Stay tuned for more guides on "Fallout 4."
