Bandai Namco will be adding idol power to its action adventure RPG "God Eater 2: Rage Burst" next month.

According to Gematsu, a free "The Idolmaster" themed DLC, will be added to the Japanese version of "God Eater 2: Rage Burst." The new update will include collaboration costumes from Bandai Namco's idol simulator and rhythm video game.

Characters will also be given dance motions from "The Idolmaster," as well as a "Kotori Otonashi Operation" background music players can use.

The said update will also be released for "God Eater Resurrection," and will be coming to both "God Eater" games in Japan on Dec. 1.

As for a Western release for these DLC's, there is a slim chance that the "Idolmaster" costumes can still be released by Namco Bandai to the Western version of the game. This is due to the fact that "Idolmaster" themed DLC was also released in some of the "Tales of" games, which were also published by Namco Bandai.

Here is the "Idolmaster" DLC costumes in action in role playing game "Tales of Zestiria."

And below is the DLC-exclusive soundtrack included in "Tales of Zestiria," "Idolmaster"'s "Go My Way."

"God Eater 2: Rage Burst" already has a few costume DLC's in the game inspired by popular Namco Bandai titles like "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" and "Tales of Zestiria," and two hit anime series "Tokyo Ghoul" and "Assassination Classroom." These, however, were only offered as a pre-order bonus for the game. You can check them all out below.

Bandai Namco's "Monster Hunter" contender "God Eater" has held its own since its PSP days, and now its latest port, "God Eater 2 Rage Burst," has impressed people, especially on Steam, where it has garnered a "Very Positive" rating from fans.

As for the PS4 version, "God Eater 2: Rage Burst" had mostly mixed reviews from video game sites, getting only a score of 69 on review score aggregator Metacritic.
