EA posted a "UFC 2" simulation between McGregor and Alvarez for the 2-division title match at UFC 205 and things seems to go their way just as predicted.
The quick two minute video below shows a simlated match between McGregor and Alvarez before their big fight.
The entire match didn't take that long, though fans could only wish that the two of these lethal fighters would land blows as clean as what have been shown on the video. It only took four rounds for the match to wrap up and the results weren't much of a surprise as McGregor nabs win the with his UFC Lightweight Title spinning heel kick.
Going back to the real world, a fresh report from Associated Press New York (dailymail.co.uk) finally revealed the winner for those who weren't able to watch the fight. McGregor still won the bout against Alvarez though it only took him two rounds to knock the living daylight out of his opponent.
McGregor dubs himself as the King of New York for being the first two-division title holder who won at UFC 2015 last November 13, 2016 at Madison Square Garden New York. McGregor is now looking forward to what's next after his victory.
There's still no word if UFC will allow McGregor to defend both championships simultaneously though Presedent Dana White mentioned that the guy might just be the only fighter capable of doing such thing without a huge risk of losing.
The fight against Alvarez only took two rounds and McGregor didn't even receive any serious damage from his opponent, making the entire match duration a walk in the park with matched taunting.
McGregor now holds both the featherweight title as well as the newly acquired lightweight title, making EA's "UFC 2" simulation match a precursor to what's to come and and indication of how much of an influence, McGregor is, in the mixed martial arts scene.
