2K Games has currently angered people who pre-ordered "WWE 2K17" because of its recently released Goldberg Pack DLC. Now it looks like the developer is also getting negative feedback from Season Pass holders as well.

Season pass holders for "WWE 2K17" were under the impression that they have full access to all upcoming DLC's for the game. Unfortunately, this is not the case for the Goldberg Pack DLC.

Responding to a fan question on its official Twitter account, 2K Games confirmed that Season Pass holders would still need to pay separately to get the WWE legend's DLC pack.

Apart from the Goldberg Pack DLC, it appears that Season Pass holders would also need to cough up cash for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One exclusive NXT Enhancement Pack DLC, which includes NXT Superstars Shinsuke Nakamura, Nia Jax and Apollo Crews. This, however, was announced beforehand.

Players who have ordered "WWE 2K17" ahead of time has received the playable character Goldberg as an incentive, as well as two iconic arenas associated with the WWE superstar: WCW Halloween Havoc and WCW Monday Nitro.

At the beginning of the month, however, 2K Games announced on Twitter that the supposedly pre-order exclusive DLC is now being offered for purchase for the rest of the players this week.

Disappointed players responded to the Twitter announcement, with some saying that those who have pre-ordered the game felt like they have been cheated. Other players have contested the $4.99 price tag for the Goldberg Pack DLC, saying that the price is too steep for a single playable character.

Despite the criticism, however, 2K Games has defended its actions, stating that it is fair to release Goldberg at this time. "Pre-orderers get it for free while others have to pay and wait a month. Seems like a good point," the "WWE 2K17" page responded to a fan.

The "WWE 2K17" Goldberg Pack DLC is now available for $4.99.
