Nokia is expected to return in the smartphone market in 2017, and it is rumored that it will unveil two to three devices. The most rumored is the Nokia D1C Android phones, with fresh images leaked, giving us a glimpse of what to anticipate.

In our past article, we predicted that the upcoming D1C Android devices will be another Android tablet, but the latest leaks point otherwise. Now, these fresh image renders from Weibo testify the latter theory, and even reveal design details on the upcoming Nokia smartphone.

It come with no surprise as Nokia has confirmed working on both Android smartphones and Tablets with HMD as the sole global partner.

The recent image leak points towards the the Nokia D1C as Gold, White, and Black colour variants. According to NDTV Gadgets 360, the Gold colour option is expected to sport a fingerprint scanner underneath the Home Button, while the others aren't. There are capacitive buttons at the front (except for Gold, which sports a Home Button), and the volume and power buttons are housed on the right edge.

From the leaked image, the smartphone will feature a rounded metallic body. It may come with the 3.5mm audio jack on top, and the USB port and microphone at the bottom edge. From the leaked images, the Nokia D1C appears to have a glass back casing.

Past rumors suggest that the Nokia D1C is expected to sport a 2K resolution display, and be IP68 water and dust resistant. The latest rumours suggest that the tablet will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor powering the device clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

It is also rumoured that the tablet will feature a 7megapixel front-facing camera and a superb 15megapixel rear camera with flash, autofocus, face detection and touch focus.

Additionally, Nokia has also confirmed that CEO Rajeev Suri will be speaking at MWC next year, and this rumoured smartphone is expected to be unveiled then.

The release date is highly anticipated in early 2016. But there are no leaks regarding the price of this tablet.
