We have been digesting a lot of content regarding Nokia's upcoming phones in the market. With a pinch of salt, a lot of rumours surrounding the new design, hardware and concepts of C1 and Nokia P1 have been swirling all over the Internet. But Is there a real chance that the new phones will be out soon?

The new CEO of Nokia, Rajeev Suri will be speaking at the MWC 2017, along-with key executives of Nokia. In this event, we can probably expect a launch in the Q1 2017.

According to sources by NokiaPowerUser, HMD will launch Nokia smartphones and tablets as it has acquired the rights of Nokia brand phones from Microsoft.

The two new Nokia smartphones which are likely to be launched in Q4 2016 are in prototyping phase now, as suggested by rumors. There can be a launch scheduled for Q1 2017 at the MWC depending upon the past launch feedbacks.

The two Nokia smartphones rumored to be launched in Q4 2016 will be "flagship" handsets, featuring high-end specs and high-end features. As of now, these two new launches from Nokia are rumoured to feature: 5.2inch and 5.5-inch QHD OLED displays, Snapdragon 820 processors, metal construction, 22.6MP graphene cameras, water and dust resistance, and Android 7.0 Nougat.

As reported by AnanTech, the upcoming Nokia devices will run on Google Android OS, showing the company's true intention of competing in the Android market.

While HMD owns the brand, still we do not expect the company to introduce custom SoCs for Nokia devices primarily due to technological and financial reasons.

We can expect the price of the smartphones in the mid-budget range as the market is in an upward curve in this segment for new phones.

Stay tuned for more updates regarding Nokia Android phones.
