Caitriona Balfe confirmed that Jamie and Claire's reunion will bring more sex scenes in "Outlander" Season 3, but before this happens, viewers should expect more appearance of Tobiaz Menzie's character, Frank.
Season 2 ended with Jamie and Claire on separate ways. While was Jamie left behind in Culloden, Claire returns through the stones to 1940s England. In "Outlander" Season 3, Frank's character will appear more , which is not supposed to be as per the book version.
According to Den of Geek, Claire and Frank's marriage should not take up more time in the third book, "The Voyager", which the third season is based on. However, the "Outlander" author revealed that the TV show expanded the end of the story very well, and "very consistently."
The start of "Outlander" Season 3 will also see the anticipated Jamie and Black Jack's face off in the Battle of Culloden. Author Diana Gabaldon said that there will also be more of Jamie in the latest season, which coincides with the third novel. She added that fans of the novel should not be worry, as Season 3 storyline remains close to the book's storyline.
Meanwhile, the previous season of "Outlander" earned some viewers' dissatisfaction on the lack of intimacy between Jamie and Claire. Actress Balfe also acknowledges this and says in an interview with Vanity Fair that the show missed the intimate moments as Season 2 was heavily focused on politics.
Inquistr reported that the couple reunites at a print shop after several years of being separated. Apparently, the reunion in "Outlander" Season 3 will bring more Jamie-Claire sex scenes than there was in the previous season.
As per Balfe, "I think to really let the reunion and everything that's going to happen once Jamie and Claire see each other. I think it's really special. Maybe they'll have to wait a little bit, but I don't think it's going to be as scarce as last season, shall we say?"
More intimate scenes await "Outlander" Season 3 on Starz. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
