Bungie will be kicking off another Iron Banner event in "Destiny: Rise of Iron" this week.
Hot off the heels of the recently concluded Festival of The Lost, Iron Banner makes a return to Bungie's first person shooter game. Here are the reasons why you should not miss the event this week.
All New Weapons
Participants of this week's Iron Banner will have a chance to get their hands on some sweet new end game gear. Here's a quick rundown what you can get.
The Clever Dragon - Kinetic Legendary pulse rifle
The Silvered Dread - Legendary heavy machine gun
Hunter Armor
Titan Armor
Warlock Armor
GameRant recommends grinding for The Clever Dragon, as the legendary pulse rifle has fewer weapon perks, so there is a much higher chance of getting a good roll for this solid PVP weapon.
Iron Banner Returns To Form
The Iron Banner event returns to form with Control, which is a much better mode than the recently introduced Supremacy PVP. Supremacy relied on close quarter combat too often, causing players to switch to shotguns during PVP, as it is deemed the most effective for this mode.
Huge Light Level Boost
If you are not the type to like PVP in online games, don't fret. The Iron Banner event will still give players a huge experience boost all throughout the event, so there is still plenty of reasons to grind apart from getting all that PVP loot.
What's Next For "Destiny"?
Bungie has taken a beating for its lackluster "Destiny" Year Two content, according to Forbes, and some are thinking that the same thing is currently happening in Year Three.
Despite the setbacks, it looks like Bungie has not learned from its mistakes. However, the lack of solid updates may be blamed on the developer putting all their energies into "Destiny 2."
"Destiny: Rise of Iron" Iron Banner event kicks off on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 10 a.m. PDT, and will end Nov. 15, 1 a.m. PDT.
