The NBA offseason has been abuzz with the rumors that the Philadelphia 76ers is keen on trading their center Nerlens Noel and is eyeing a potential deal option for a talented shooting guard. According to the latest trade rumors, the Golden State Warriors might be interested in bringing Noel in exchange for their shooting guard Shaun Livingston.

ChattSportsNet reported that the Golden State Warriors are in the process of further improving their roster after the recent acquisition of Kevin Durant in the offseason. Reports stated that the Warriors might bring in 76ers center Noel in order to refine their gameplay.

According to the trade rumors, Noel is expected to fill the void created by the center Andrew Bogut and thus help the Warriors to enhance their defensive and offensive gameplay, reported Morning News USA. Noel averaged 11.1 points 8.1 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game in the last season. Adding Noel to the roster and teaming him up with small forward Kevin Durant and point guard Stephen Curry is expected to help the Warriors to reach the top spot in the upcoming NBA season.

On the other hand, even the Philadelphia 76ers are touted to be keen on emptying their overcrowded frontcourt filled with center players. SB Nation reported that the 76ers will have a tough time to place center players Joel Embiid, Noel and Jahlil Okafor appropriately, as there won't be enough minutes for everyone in the upcoming NBA season. Reports stated that trading Noel and adding Livingston will help the 76ers to solve their front court issue and thus improve overall defensive gameplay.

Furthermore, even the ESPN Trade Machine has acknowledged that the rumored trade scenario will benefit both the teams in the upcoming NBA season. However, none of the teams has officially commented anything on the rumored trade scenario.
