After a long decisive battle, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha will finally reconcile in the upcoming 478th episode of "Naruto Shippuden."

'Naruto Shippuden' Episode 477 Recap

As a quick refresher, the previous episode dubbed "Naruto and Sasuke" saw Naruto using shadow clones to distract Sasuke. One of the shadow clones amassed the nature energy to battle against Sasuke's Perfect Susanoo.

The clones then merged into a single avatar that made two colossal Rasenshuriken. Pleased, Sasuke remarked that Naruto is finally getting serious. However, the latter yelled that he wanted to win against Sasuke fairly.

Naruto's attack and Sasuke's Indra's Arrow collide, creating a titanic blast and hurricane-like vortex that annihilated the Final Valley including decapitating statue. Depleted of chakra, Naruto and Sasuke resort to Taijutsu.

The battle between Naruto and Sasuke continued until they are both so exhausted and injured that they can scarcely stand. The episode ended with Naruto and Sasuke's respective attacks' crashed, destroying what little is left from the Valley of the End.

'Naruto Shippuden' Episode 478 Spoilers

Early "Naruto Shippuden" episode 478 spoilers are now out in Manga Reader. It is said that the upcoming episode will start with Naruto and Sasuke lying on what appears to be the statues' hands shaping a seal of reconciliation.

At the time, Sakura and Kakashi arrived at the Valley of the End to mend both Naruto and Sasuke. The latter then apologize to a teary-eyed Sakura for what he has done to her.

As the duo are both rejuvenated, Sasuke and Naruto use a special hand gesture to free everyone from the Infinite Tsukuyomi, as well as the tailed beasts. As they do so, Sasuke discuss how he and Naruto have come to understand each other's pain and emotions, and that he now finally understand why Naruto never abandoned him.

Meanwhile, Movie News Guide reported there will be a few episodes highlighting the aftermath of the battle. The 479th episode will presumably feature Shikamaru, Sasuke, and the Hidden Leaf Village.

"Naruto Shippuden" episode 478, dubbed "The Unison Sign," is slated to premiere on Oct. 6, Thursday.
