Rumors that "Descendants of the Sun" stars Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye Kyo were dating intensified earlier this week. It is said that the onscreen couple is allegedly planning a secret wedding as the 34-year-old actress is already pregnant.

Not long after the news made clamor on the web, both Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye-Kyo's respective agencies set the record straight by denying the rumors. The entertainment labels stressed that the so-called Song-Song couple are in no way dating.

"It's definitely not true," a representative from the entertainment label said, as quoted by All Kpop. "It's ridiculous. We're just laughing about it."

The Hallyu stars have constantly been plagued with unending dating rumors and speculations. The dating rumors intensified after Song Joong-Ki previously admitted that Song Hye-Kyo is his best onscreen partner.

"She hasn't only sent a coffee truck, she also sent a snack truck too," Soompi quoted Song Joong-Ki as saying at the 2016 Seoul Drama Awards on Sept. 8. "She is the best partner."

Due to the impeccable chemistry and romance Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye-Kyo have shown in the KBS 2TV drama "Descendants of the Sun," the two received the Best Couple Award at the 2016 APAN Star Awards on Oct. 2, Sunday. In the hit melodrama, the two Hallyu stars respectively portrayed Captain Yoo Si-Jin and Dr. Kang Mo-Yeon

"It is my first time getting the Best Couple Award, it's a pity I was not able to receive this award together with my comrade, Song Hye Kyo," said Song Joong-Ki, as translated by SongJoongKi_SG. "I am here receiving it alone, but I am still very thankful."

On Song Hye-Kyo's behalf, the "Innocent Man" actor expressed deep gratitude towards everyone. He then revealed that the "Full House" actress messaged him to inform fans that she was not able to attend this year's APAN Star Awards because of her overseas schedule.

Apart from the Best Couple Award, Song Joong-Ki also won the Best APAN Star Award. He was also the recipient of the Grand Excellence Award (Daesung) as a result of his dynamic portrayal of a fun-loving yet serious Army Captain.
