With many teams trying to bring the Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love onto their roster, the latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Miami Heat are interested in lure him in. Reports claimed that the Heat might send their point guard Goran Dragic and small forward Justise Winslow to the Cavaliers in exchange for Love.
ChattSportsNet reported that the Heat are currently in the process of rebuilding their roster in order to replace their unfit power forward Chris Bosh. Reports suggested that the Heat want to improve their frontcourt gameplay and Love is expected to help them achieve their goals for the upcoming new season.
Reports also suggested that the Miami Heat are eyeing Cavalier's power forward Love in order help them fill the void created by the departure of Dwyane Wade to the Chicago Bulls. However, few reports touted that the Cleveland Cavaliers are not that keen on trading Love this season. Also, it is stated that even Love has expressed his interest to remain with the Cavaliers and is reported to have been working hard in the current offseason to improve his game.
On the other hand, Love recently also voiced his views on the ongoing NBA trade rumors and stated that it does not affect him at all. "They'll never be gone," said Love, as reported by ESPN. "That's just something that you live with. We have so much hype and media and the good and the bad surrounding this team and it just comes with the territory. I love this team; love the coaching staff, my teammates, and the organization."
It remains to be seen whether the Miami Heat are able to lure the Cleveland Cavaliers to give up one of their star players, Kevin Love, before the start of the new NBA season.
