Google launched both the LG-made Nexus 5X and the Huawei-made Nexus 6p in 2015. Both these devices had plenty of differences between them although coming from the same Nexus family.

The Nexus 6P is taller, wider, denser, and sleeker than the Nexus 5X. It also has a metallic body, unlike the Nexus 5X which sports a plastic one.

The Nexus 6P comes in three different variants -32/64/128 GB whereas the Nexus 5X comes with just two variants -16/32 GB. The RAM capacity is higher for Nexus 6P than Nexus 5X as per NDTV Gadgets.

When it comes to display, the display size, and screen resolution, the Nexus 6P has a larger size. It comes with AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, whereas the Nexus 5X comes with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen.

Looking at the camera specs, the Nexus 6P has a more powerful snapper for its rear camera, according to the Android Authority.

Looking under the hood, the Nexus 6P is powered by Octa Core, Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 whereas Nexus 5X is fuelled by 1.8 GHz, Hexa Core, Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 Processor. Nexus 5X boasts of slight faster CPU speed although, with more cores, Nexus 6P can do more tasks in parallel and can provide a smoother experience.

As per GSM Arena, the battery capacity is significantly higher in the case of Nexus 6P. The 6P also sports the dual front-facing speakers providing a loud stereo experience.

The 'P' in Nexus 6P stands Premium, the smartphone definitely delivers as one of the best Android flagships available in the market. Though the Nexus 6P is comfortably the winner between the two models, the Nexus 5X is more affordable.
