'One Piece' Chapter 840 Recap
As a quick refresher, courtesy of The One Piece Podcast, the previous chapter started with Yonji revealing to Sanji that Germa 66's soldiers are all clones of past uncommon soldiers. They were apparently created using the joint research of Judge and Vegapunk.
The scene then shifted to Black Leg Sanji assaulting Niji for beating the head chef, Cosette. Using Zeff as a threat, Niji struck back and overwhelmed Sanji. The "Sparking Red" Ichiji then help Sanji to remember his position as their family's failure, driving the latter to reminisce further about his childhood.
'One Piece' Chapter 841 Spoilers
Dubbed "To the East Blue," the next chapter will continue with Sanji reminiscing further about his childhood. As per Hall of Fame Magazine, the next chapter will begin with Sanji, as a child, remembering how he used to cook for his ill mother.
After his siblings found him in the dungeon, his brothers kept on tormenting him. However, "Poison Pink" Reiju patched him up. She then informed Sanji that the Germa Kingdom was prepping to cross from the North Blue into the East Blue.
With this information, Sanji tearfully expressed his hope of becoming a chef and escaping the kingdom forever in East Blue. Sympathizing with Sanji's situation, Reiju helped him escape.
While Judge caught Sanji out of his cell, he allowed his third son to leave, requesting the Black Leg not to associate himself with the Vinsmoke Family.
Back in the present, Reiju finds a severely beaten Sanji inside the Germa laboratory, asking him for what valid reason he kept on protecting Zeff.
Meanwhile, in the Seducing Woods, Luffy and Cracker continue their tiresome 11-hour battle. The Straw Hat decides to keep eating Cracker's biscuit soldiers until Cracker runs out of stamina.
