Still a few months before the official release of "Resident Evil 7," PC gamers can now check and see if the much-awaited game will run on their machines. Are the requirements as scary as the game intends to be?

The minimum requirements, as well as the recommended requirements recently, popped out of "Resident Evil 7" official Steam page. Fortunately for those who don't want to upgrade to Windows 10 yet, for whatever purposes, would still be able to enjoy playing "Resident Evil 7" on Windows 7.

For the processor, the minimum requirement is an Intel Core i5-4460 2.70GHz or its AMD equivalent. For those using the later AMD APU-based processors, there's a good chance that the game may run at some point, especially for those with beefed up RAM.

In terms of GPU, the game's minimum requirement is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or later. The possible equivalent for AMD GPUs could be R260s or something similar. Again, for those utilizing APUs like the A10 series.

The RAM required should be at least 8GB with no particular speed, so it may be something between 1666 or the faster 2133. Those who have the access for even faster RAM speeds may benefit an extra oomph, but take note that even the recommended requirement still shows 8GB.

The minimum requirement target is for a full 1080p HD resolution and with at least 30 frames per second of gameplay. Something serious PC gamers may cringe about, but still very playable. For the recommended specs, the game is expected to run at full HD 1080p with frame rates going around 60.

These specs requirements don't seem yet that even mid-range gaming setup can seem to run them at decent rates, but CAPCOM do state that these can still be subject to changes in the future before the game releases.
